How Dustin Kinnison Started in Veterans’ Law
Dustin began working on behalf of veterans as a law clerk for Sean Kendall. He immediately began making an impact on the firm’s litigation at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, drawing on his experience drafting judicial opinions and advising community organizations.
Judicial and Community Advocacy Experience
During law school, Dustin interned for Judge Roberto Ramirez in Colorado’s 17th Judicial District. He drafted orders and judicial opinions for appeals from Adams County Court.
Dustin then served as a student attorney with the Colorado Law Sustainable Community Development Clinic. There, he helped advise community organizations and small- and mid-sized nonprofit organizations on issues of state and federal law.
