What many do not know is that a veteran does not have to be homeless in order to take advantage of programs the VA has that are oriented toward homeless veterans. Many of these programs are intended to help families that are on the financial edge. It is a misconception that one has to be out of their home in order to take advantage of these programs. This is especially true in the area of Federal Housing grants.
