Agent Orange, a herbicide used in the Vietnam war to aid in deforestation, has stayed with veterans long after their active duty experiences. Agent Orange and other herbicides containing dioxin have been linked to a host of physical disabilities and illnesses, including: prostate cancer, respiratory cancers, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, type II diabetes, and more.

In Tennessee, a number of town hall meetings will be held to discuss Agent Orange and its effects on the veteran population. These types of meetings should be held nationwide to inform all Vietnam vets who may have potentially encountered the herbicide and are now suffering the consequences.

The VA is constantly updating the sites and time periods that make veterans eligible for Agent Orange-related claims. Do you need help with your veterans benefits claim? Contact us.
